Oakland Borough was founded in 1883 in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania. It is governed by a mayor and a seven-member Council.
Oakland has approximately 600 residents within its borders.

Oakland Borough accepting sealed bids for a Salt Dogg SHPE 2000 and a truck back rack. Bids are being accepted till September 30,2022 at 3:00 p.m. Bids must be clearly marked SEALED. Emergency Relief Food Pantry

Our Borough has an appointment-only food pantry that is open to all Susquehanna County residents who are struggling with food insecurity, regardless of income. If you need to put food on your table, please contact Jenny Bixby at 570-853-3214 Borough Office or cell 570-930-0166.
